Matthew (I mean I!) won 3rd place in the cake decorating contest at the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet yesterday. We made (I mean I!) made a volcano cake with moist dark, chocolate cake with milk chocolate icing. The "volcano" was stuffed with red hots (volcano has to be hot, ya know) with red (icing) lava oozing out the top and sides. Then I took mashed chocolatey-middle Oreos and sprinkled them on the sides and the base of the mountain to give it that bouldery "au natural" look.My cake (I mean our cake) was called "Aloh-hot!"
